My genius longtime collaborator, composer Veronika Krausas, will discuss her career-spanning transdisciplinary work composing music in partnership with visual artists, including myself. Krausas is a mesmerizing artist in discussion, and she presents as part of the 7 Dudley Cinema Series at Beyond Baroque.
Dr. Krausas will discuss the works she and I have created together, chat a bit about our process, preoccupations, and explorations…and screen several of our projects including WATERLAND, FOSSOYEUR, PANEVEZYS FOREST, and perhaps a few more.
She will also speak a bit about our major new work for 2013… THE ALCHEMY SUITE, a new commissioned transdisciplinary opera performance project that will premiere this summer at the iconic Modern Art Museum in Ceret, France with baritone Christopher Isherwood.
Other film artists include Thaddeus Holownia, Nana Tchitchoua, and James Jacobson.
