The painter and soul-brother-of-BumbleMoth Paetrick Schmidt and I have a month long two-person show opening this weekend at Schloss Plüschow on the beautiful Baltic coast here in Germany.
Our ongoing collaborative works are shown as part of Schloss Plüschow’s “Jeder Tag ist ein Reise/Every Day is a Journey” exhibition.
My work is drawn from our ongoing, semi-epic, site-specific project about the Cap Arcona, which met with tragedy in the waters near Schloss Plüschow. This particular selection features six 20 x 20 panels of digital c-print photographs on rag paper with text in English. A translation into German by Dorothea Herreiner will be available at the gallery.
Paetrick will be showing work that he has done surrounding fragments from poems I have written for him…one of which can be seen here. Paetrick is represented by 2Agenten in Berlin, with a lovely portfolio of work on view, including our Edisto Mystery Tree collaboration.
