Last summer, I wrote a short story THE LITTLE KRETSCHMAR for Tin House magazine, which appeared in print last month in their 50th anniversary “Beauty” issue.
I read the piece aloud at this past January in New York City at the Center for Jewish History as part of the performance event “Poetics of Place” – a literary response to my solo museum exhibition PROPHECY OF PLACE: QUINTAN ANA WIKSWO at Yeshiva University Museum (August 12, 2011 – March 1, 2012). Behind me on the screen is the film projection I created in Germany to accompany the story.
