I love the folks at Sidebrow, who have created a multiple-author, cross-genre site for semi-collaborative, multi-threaded narratives. In other words, peculiar and delightful bits of writing that exist in dynamic, partially-formed fragments. It’s altogether new, which is saying a lot in this day and age.
I’m happy they’ve included a snippet from a larger piece of mine in text and image, called The Little Kretschmar…about the Aktion T4 medical killings in Berlin.
This piece is called GERHARD KRETCHMAR TAKES HIS SON TO TIERGARDENSTRASSE FOUR. It starts with sex, and then everything goes badly from there.
Other contributors include other folks I quite admire, including the delightful Deborah Poe, Ander Monson, Cole Swenson, and G.C. Waldrep, and Lawrence Braithwaite and Craig Foltz, who I published years ago when I was editor of Fourteen Hills.
