Our performance ensemble FLASHPOINT / PROXIMAL CONSTELLATIONS presents the second show in this 2013-14 performance season with the premiere of an ALL-NEW original miniature stories, musings, meditations, parables, harangues, poems, conversations, micro-memoirs and telescopic think pieces…with upright bass. Through literature and live music, the six artists’ compositions are provocative, hilarious, haunting, and aggressively tender explorations of the convergences between literature, theater, music, improvisation, and collaborative live performance.
For this 11/15 performance at Pete’s, it’s all about DISOBEDIENCE, WILD BEASTS, EXCESSES OF CONSCIOUSNESS, FEARS PERCHED IN THE TREES, and NAIVETY IN SEXUAL MATTERS.
