After a sold-out performance last August at Cornelia Street Cafe in the West Village, I’m delighted to return this fall for the next season of performances by Flashpoint / Proximal Conversations, a live short-form literature-and-music performance ensemble we’ve been evolving for the past year. My crazy-talented colleagues Matthew Daddona, Sarah Dohrmann, George Michelsen Foy, Brandon Judell, and Arthur Kell will tear the place apart, as usual.
And the proximal constellations – we’re talking drone warfare, the red flesh of the soil, gambling, the sight of fathers crying, and whether love is parallel or perpendicular.
I’ll be performing all new performance texts, mostly from my project Out Here Death Is No Big Deal. Would love to see folks there.
