Quintan Ana Wikswo:
Field Guide to Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
Interdisciplinary artist Quintan Ana Wikswo works with the departments of Film/Video, Music, and Creative Writing, offering her lively, point-by-point Field Guide to the unmapped peaks and valleys of collaboration across disciplines.
In discussing intrepid curiosity, adventurousness, and thinking big, she guides participants through core questions of risk-taking, team-building, vision mapping, ethics and intellectual property, emotional evolution, and shares her works including Sonderbauten, The Anguilladae Eater, Wupatki, Luminosity, and Schwarzer Tod and the Useless Eaters.
Wikswo offers her own experience as a member of three interdisciplinary performance companies, as well as her recent major international project premieres with preeminent composers and musicians, choreographers and dancers, writers, actors, filmmakers, and performers in New York, Los Angeles, and Europe.
