04/21: Facilitating Micol Hebron’s “Gallery Tally” Workshop

March 28, 2017

Thrilled to the point of going vibrational – I’m facilitating a special workshop-lecture-presentation by my idol Micol Hebron on April 15th – she’ll be sharing strategies and tactics from her project Gallery Tally: calling for gender equity in the Art World with intersectional artists, activists, curators, and institutions in Santa Fe who are passionate about agitating for measurable equity of representation in the art world.  Micol reminds us that no matter who we are, it’s no longer acceptable to watch from the sidelines as bigotry goes on unchecked in our arts institutions. And best of all, she offers world-renown strategies for how to agitate for evolution. Tangible evolution. Noisy, messy, beautiful and long-overdue evolution.

I’ll be posting the invitation here and on facebook, so stay tuned. I’m facilitating as myself, but wearing my hat of Director of Artist Programs for Some Serious Business.

In the meantime, here are some excellent articles and sites on Micol and her Project:
